Aretha Franklin – Touch Me Up (Mikeandtess Edit4 mix)

As the queen of soul Aretha Franklin is sadly no longer with us, it’s now down to her massive army of fans to make sure her legacy continues from generation to generation. Within that army of fans are a bunch of talented music producers who to want to do their bit to make sure Aretha’s music continues to stay in the limelight, where it belongs. One of those producers just happens to be one of our favourite producers, France based Mikeandtess, who is well known to us and many others for releasing exquisite edits of stone-cold classics, just like this take of his featured of Aretha’s 1977 Disco driven track ‘Touch Me Up’. Disco is very much the driving force behind Mikeandtess’ edit, but his version packs more of a punch and a modern day groove to really light up the floor. Miss it, miss out!

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
