Barry Ashworth Live at Mucky Weekender DJ Mix (18-09-2019)

Mucky Weekender is a new 2-day festival founded by Dub Pistols founder Barry Ashworth. It’s held at a secret location in Sussex and will take its place on the festival calendar on the third weekend of September, which means it’ll be a great way to bring down the curtain on an eventful festival season for those wanting just one more party in a field.

If you take a few seconds to think of the contacts in Barry’s phone, it’ll soon become clear as to the calibre of the artists he’s able to assemble at his festival. Some of those high calibre artists to play at Mucky Weekender’s debut on the festival circuit back in September include JFB, WBBL, Terry Hooligan, 2 Bad Mice, Ragga Twins, Rodney P, Jon Carter, Darren Emerson and Leftfield. Of course, the Dub Pistols also performed and even though Barry was on band and full-on festival organisation duties, he still found time to drop an all guns blazing DnB/Jungle set, which is the one featured above.

If the Mucky Weekender festival interests you, head to it’s Facebook page by Clicking Here to see a bit of how things went down a couple of months back, a link to buy tickets and to keep in the loop of the lineup for 2020.

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
