Whilst Basement Freaks gets to work on some new music to build up his following on Bandcamp, he’s taken timeout to upload quite a bit of his back catalogue to his Bandcamp page, which will come as great news to fans of his who might have missed some of those magic Funky Breaks tunes he’s released over the last decade.
Even though LSM has supported Basement Freaks’ work since the doors of the blog were first flung open, his ridiculously smooth midtempo Breaks single Mission Jazz form 2013 somehow managed to evade our radar. Luckily for us all, we can now not only listen to this slice of class from Basement Freaks once again but also own it along with a slightly uptempo and tougher remix from Renegades of Jazz and a sharp and snazzy Jungle remix from mSdoS.
