‘The Story So Far’ kicks off Altern 8 style with the landlord riff filled ‘Burnin’ Up’ then shuffles on to the funky Hardcore House of ‘Club Vibezz’

‘Go DJ’ delivers classic 8 Bit style riffs, heavy beats, cut up riffs and a big dose of melodic piano with the famous vox from a well known DJ Zinc tune. ‘Gonna Dig This’ goes in hard and mental with nods to the European Hardcore Techno sound circa 91 a la Human Resource.
‘Pump This Party’ is a singalong, feelgood, throw those hands tune with happy pianos and Detroit Techno riffs aplenty. ‘Rock With Me’ opens with rolling Jungle Breaks and builds to a manic medley of off-kilter 92 rave riffs and keys.
‘Start Rockin’ integrates 4×4 kicks and amen breaks with sharp, dark synths and booming subs while still finding time to inject some uplifting piano into proceedings.
‘Terminate Automatic!’ builds around a monstrous 90s Euro Rave hook and some seriously angry 303 acid for a banger that could have been played at the Berlin Mayday events back in the early 90s. ‘Turn It Up’ kicks off with Public Enemy call and response samples before introducing House style organs for a nice sunny feel akin to the early UK rave sound.
‘Don’t Break My Heart’ combines the saccharine style of 90s Dutch Rave or today’s K Pop to a smooth amen break and some 95′ UK Hardcore influenced sweeping synths. The whole album is book-ended by another huge anthem in ‘I Want Your Love’, easily one of the best modern rave tunes of 2019 with all the timeless elements of a true rave classic i.e Italo Piano, mind-bending synths, Hip Hop vox and pumping breaks.
