Having thought I’d featured music by Mexican producer Sould Out here on the ward before, it appears I haven’t which is pretty shoddy behavior on my part, especially as he is very good friends with one of my favourite producers from that part of the world The Funk District. Having worked together on several tracks now, we’re very much focusing on Sould Out’s solo work with this exceedingly good Disco edit of Chemise‘s 1982 track ‘She Can’t Love You’. Whilst the 80’s Disco essence is still present in his edit, there’s very much a nod to the present day Nu-Disco sound as it delivers a more modern day groove and a bolder presence on the dancefloor. This one is for the Disco spinners who only choose to own classy jams!
