Crash Party – Nitty Gritty + Remixes

Crash Party have found themselves on the ward before, but it’s the first time they’ve had a release on Scour Records and their debut is one that’s sure to make you sit up and take note. ‘Nitty Gritty’ is another midtempo monster from the duo that comes equipped with strong ragga vocal, a monumental amount of bass and enough energy to power the world!

Not content with trying to blow everyone’s socks off, Crash Party have called in some good friends for remix duties. First up is Second Hand Audio and they tame the beast with a breathtaking Boom Bap flavoured take on the original. A heavy hitting Glitch Hop influenced Breaks remix comes next from Dave RMX, which is followed by a smokin’ hot Dancehall/Reggae remix from Leygo and Toy Beats. On the flip side to the two previous remixes, DJ BiNGe tears it up with a ferocious Jungle offering. Just to bolster the music bank a little more, Crash Party have themselves put a Jungle spin on their own tune and it’s a proper bouncy number! As a bonus, their remix is free to download and you can find that by Clicking Here.

A great selection of sounds from all involved and as always, Scour Records have scoured the goodies once again!

About the Author

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
