Father Funk – Bootlegs & B-Sides Vol. V

Father Funk’s ‘Bootleg & B-Sides’ albums are always eagerly anticipated here on the ward because it gives us and everyone else a chance to get our hands on a few of his previously unreleased, tried and tested bangers! This time on volume 5, there’s another 14 of them to be had for the cheap as chips price of just £3!

Making up the weighty ‘Bootlegs & B-Sides Vol. V’ is a few older tracks that have been consistently doing the business for a good while in Father Funk’s sets and a selection of newer ones, many of which you would have heard if you’ve had a listen to his set from this year’s Shambhala festival that was recently uploaded to his Soundcloud page (listen to his set here). That means Ghetto Funk slammers like his remix of Sly & The Family Stone‘s ‘Thank You’ and his ‘Whole Lotta Love’ mashup can be had along with his insane Bass House remix of Kool & The Gang‘s ‘Get Down On It’, his cool, calm and collected Breakbeat edit of Otis Redding‘s ‘Sittin’ On The Dock Of The Bay’ and his truly wild DnB remix of Liam Lynch‘s ‘United States of Whatever’. The big tunes don’t stop there though, so be sure to investigate fully so as not to miss any of them.
