Following on from their continued success of inviting guest artists to take the helm of their “Funk n’ Beats” album series, Bombstrikes are chuffed to bits to this time have legendary funksters, Fort Knox Five, guide this frigate of funk straight into your lives.

Fort Knox Five have been ‘funkin’ 4 peace’ for many years now and what they don’t know about Funk isn’t worth knowing, so it’ll come as no surprise that their curation duties for volume 4 has thrown up 23 tracks that are all absolute must haves for anyone who claims to be a fan of Funk.

Once again, the music that you can get your hands on is both new and old. Recent Bombstrikes releases, exclusives and handpicked future classics sit alongside unearthed and forgotten about gems from Black Machine, Malente, Ugly DucklingThe Allergies, The Noisy Freaks, Lack of Afro and many more. Fort Knox Five of course feature to with a handful tracks that have their trademark quality stamped all over them.

One track to keep your eyes peeled and your ears open for is “Flex The Posse” by, Rhythm Mode: D. This exclusive digital release is an early collaboration between Mark Archer (Altern 8) and Dean Meredith (Bizarre Inc, Chicken Lips) and it definitely adds a heavy dose of Funk amongst all of the other amazing tracks.
