Calling Breakbeat fans from all around the world! We bring you news of a spectacular Breakbeat extravaganza happening this coming weekend (19th November – 21st November) over on Twitch and we have full confidence in saying that you’re gonna love what’s in store!
A year ago when those lockdown things were in full effect, UK born, New Zealand based Breaks legend Hexadecimal came up with the idea of an online Breaks festival to bring together the Breakbeat family and spread the word of just how much fun can be had while listening to the best party music on the planet and so the Global Breaks Festival was born. The first instalment was an absolute treat for all who tuned in during that difficult period in time and because of its popularity, further GBF parties have followed and have now led us to version 4.0, the 1st birthday!
The first three festivals saw a gradual increase in the size of the lineup, but this latest incarnation is possibly the biggest and most comprehensive coming together of Breaks DJs there has ever been! Over 100 DJs will be taking part across the weekend and 120 hours will be occupied by them as they drop their epic selections which will include much-loved classics and loads of new bangers too! The list of DJs is so big that if I start writing it out, the festival will have already started, so have a look through some of the names and be prepared to catch your jaw so it doesn’t hit the floor if you’ve not had a scan through it yet:
