Hansi is a DJ/producer who bases himself in St Albans and can be found there on a regular basis spinning his favourite blend of Rare Groove, 70’s Funk, Funky Breaks and Funky House at local venues and festivals alike. When he’s not out entertaining the crowds, he can be found running his own label Viking Grooves and making his own quality Funk based edits, which is where ‘Funky Grooves Vol 8’ comes into play.
This latest volume in what is a highly impressive series, kicks of with a couple of deep and delicious downtempo Funk jams in ‘Shoo-B-Doop’ and ‘Funkify’. The third helping of Funk ‘I Like This Feeling’ comes swaggering in with the most addictive groove and blazing horns. Rounding things off in the best way is the Disco inferno ‘Love Dancing’ that will spread it’s upbeat feel like wildfire across the dance floor!
