Who can say no to some previously unreleased Hardcore Jungle bangers? Especially when they are as good as 95′ style Jungle rinseout ‘Rollers Session’, an aptly titled tune that brings to mind DJ Rap, SS, Zinc and other legends of the scene. This one’s packed with oldskool Jungle reverse FX, Jazzy keys, moans and loaded sections of amen breakage!
‘Soul Soother’ revisits the 94 Hardcore scene with a build up of intricate and complex strings that shift gear into up in the clouds piano and manic hoovers coupled with some familiar vocals to take you to a happy (hardcore) place! It’s impossible not to think of the freeform, experimental style of Kniteforce when listening to this intelligent and uplifting slice of Breakbeat Hardcore!
‘Murda Tune’ is a heavy hitting Nuskool Jungle smasher a la Tommy The Cat with deep subs, fast, slick amens and a bassline that will disintegrate your teeth! This is a perfect DJ’s tune to drop at the Jungle raves and festival tents or indeed radio shows and livestreams, just make sure to have your braces on before that bass kicks in!!!!!
‘Full Effect Posse’ takes a walk on the darker side 0f 1992 with shades of Prodigy and Acen. The beats are titanium on this one with a nice piano mid section to break up the grimey Techno basslines and bleeps. This is quintessential oldskool rave to the point, you could imagine this tune featuring on one of those legendary DJ Hype studio mixes from back in the day!
InnerCore Digital Dubs Volume 2 is out now and available to buy here, while you’re there, we highly recommend volume one which is also packed with essential Hardcore Junglism!
