Krafty Kuts Presents A Tribute To James Brown Podcast Vol.1

After teasing us for a while now about the prospect of a new podcast dedicated solely to the godfather of Funk and Soul James Brown, Krafty Kuts has finally delivered yet another masterpiece to add to his glowing back catalogue of mixes. Krafty widely regards James Brown as the biggest influence on his music career and the first record he ever owned was in fact ‘Breakin Bread’ by James that was released on People Records. Since that day, Krafty has been hooked on that stone cold groove only Mr Brown knew how to conjure.

With so much love for James Brown, this mix was only ever going to be special and as always, Krafty has taken a great deal of time to work on this mix so that it sounds as good as possibly can do and to showcase the amazing music in all its glory. The music you’ll find encompasses a mixture of James Brown and his Funky People: Fred Wesley, Marva Whitney, Lyn Collins, Hank Ballard, Maceo Parker, The JB’s and more, so there are to be no doubts as to just how good things are gonna sound when you press play. So go ahead, do it!
