DJ sets from Burning Man are popping up everywhere now as the dust settles on the playa for another year and one that caught my immediate attention is this ‘Light Mix’ from one of my very favorite producers Left/Right. His new mix is actually a studio version, but you can be sure that when it was being played live from the ‘Icarus’ art car during one of the several sunrises to take place, it would have given everyone there a fresh impetus to keep on dancing and make the most of every second of their time on the playa. Stunning stuff from the first second to the last!
Left/Right’s ‘Light Mix’ is the first of two new mixes from him in a series titled ‘Shadow/Light’. The ‘Light Mix’ explores the deep, emotional, and introspective side of his musical mind while ‘Shadow Mix’ explores the much darker, heavier and energetic side. ‘Shadow Mix’ will be with us all in the not too distant future but for now, settle down and sink into the breathtaking sounds Left/Right has carefully handpicked for us all to get lost in.
