Washington DC producer and DJ LOWCO arrived on Space Cowboys’ infamous RIPEcast series a couple of months back with an exclusive breakbeat mix packed full of favourites and a selection of original productions past, present and future!
Although a relative newcomer to producing heavyweight breaks, LOWCO has more than made his mark since becoming something of a cultured beatsmith back in 2020. Incorporating elements and influences from UK breaks and bass, jungle, electro and house into his intimidating and intoxicating sound, labels such as Uprise (NYC), 83 (Spain) and Punks Music (UK) have been only too happy to release his music so as it deservedly reaches new audiences and ears around the globe. Judging by the music in his mix and from what I’ve heard of his releases thus far, exciting times are ahead for LOWCO and his fans new and old!
