Megan Hamilton – Quarantine Remix Compilation (Free Download)

Minneapolis’ first lady of Funk and Bass, Megan Hamilton, is on-hand to help you tackle the self-isolating times with her brilliant and much-needed Quarantine Remix Compilation.

Handpicking 10 of her biggest and favourite remixes, Megan makes sure she delivers the good times for the hard times with a well-seasoned selection of Funk, Future Bass, Glitch Hop and House cuts from her archives. You’ll find remixes of music by artists such as Hot Chocolate, Missy Elliott, Cardi B and Billie Eilish to name just a few, but my pick of the bunch is Megan’s Blues infused Glitch Rock remix of The Chain by Fleetwood Mac and if you’re wondering who’s killin’ it on guitar, that’s our Megan proving there’s more than one string to her multi-strung bow. That remix is the album opener and sets the tone perfectly for what is a hugely entertaining music journey.

Megan is kindly giving her album away for free, which will more than welcomed by anyone feeling the pinch right now we’re sure. You can, however, also pay for the album if it’s possible for you to do so and we, of course, encourage that because music makers around the world are feeling the pinch too. Stay safe music lovers and always turn to music in your time of need, please.

Download Megan’s album for free or pay what you like here on Bandcamp.
