Midnight Riot Records – Disco Made Me Do It (V/A)

Midnight Riot Records latest compilation album ‘Disco Made Me Do It’ was released back in August and the music on board had been compiled for much sunnier and much warmer parties but, as we’re a little late sharing it with you, this sizzling selection of beauties you can find can now be used to heat up your parties in the best way possible as the cooler months head our way.

‘Disco Made Me Do It’ is a 17 track feast of re-edits, remixes and original music that’ll set your limbs free, put a big ol’ smile on your face and fill your soul full of happiness as you let loose in the living room, the kitchen, the dance floor, or wherever the party may be. On my first listen, tracks like Birdee‘s mesmerizing remix of Hypnotic Lovers ‘Chemistry’ feat. Chloe Amber, Groove Assassin‘s ridiculously groovy ‘Find Me Some Love’, Alan Dixon‘s brass-heavy dancefloor weapon ‘Forever’, Babert‘s sunshine packed ‘Do It Again’ and my personal favourite on the album, NFC & The Funk District‘s Disco/Funk stomper ‘Hold On Me’, are all standout tracks in my humble opinion. On reflection though, the album as a whole is a thoroughly enjoyable listen and if you love Disco, it’s impossible for you not to love what Midnight Riot has on offer for you here. Polish those Disco balls because it’s party time!
