Bristol-based Zurra has been causing quite a stir since he entered into the world of DJing and music production a couple of years ago. After knuckling down to study his new trade at The Academy Of Contemporary Music, he came up with a sound that brings together the catchy, bouncy grooves of Tech House and the filth and ferocity from the UK Bass music scene.
With a number of heavy-duty releases already under his belt, it’s his debut on the Edinburgh based label Prescribed with his free track ‘Isolator’ that alerted us to what he’s all about and we’re loving what we hear! The intensity builds from the off in the intro and leaves you in no doubts that the drop is as large as you’re suspecting it might be. Add in an epic breakdown and even more bass and pounding beats and you’ve got a track that will cause the best kind of mayhem on the floor. If you’re needing to stock up on peak-time heaters, Zurra is your man and Prescribed is the label for House music that hits quite a bit harder than the rest!
