Public Enemy – Rebel Without A Pause (Rhythm Scholar Maximum Rage Remix)

Rhythm Scholar always impresses us when he releases one of his creative and finely-tuned remixes/mashups and one in particular that has blown our socks off is his fairly recent remix featured, that combines ‘Rebel Without A Pause’ by Public Enemy, ‘Killing In The Name’ by Rage Against The Machine and elements from 15 other sources of music by artists like The J.B.’s, Jefferson Starship, Lyn Collins, James Brown, Isaac Hayes and Billy Joel to name just a few. In the main, it’s RATM’s instrumental and Public Enemy’s rap acapella that drive the track with the other elements precisely placed throughout. With the two tracks chosen to lead his mammoth midtempo Metal ‘n’ Breaks remix, we feel we should remind you about your spacial awareness, just so you don’t break anything, or anyone, when rockin’ out to Rhythm Scholar’s quality piece of work.

About the Author

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
