Pulpfusion – Mixes, Mashes & Freebies

After recently featuring Pulpfusion’s free Breakbeat remix of Herbie Hancock’s ‘Hang Up Your Hang Ups’, I took a trip over to his Bandcamp page, scrolled down to his first release on there and worked my way up till I came across his mind-blowing ‘Mixes, Mashes & Freebies’ album from 2013. Already getting a flavour of what to expect from the title, what I wasn’t ready for was the amount of music there was to listen to on it. In total there are 70 tracks which are available as a pay what you like kind of deal. That means you can, of course, own all of the music for free, but because it’s all so good and because there’s so much of it, a contribution of whatever can be afforded will be worth every penny.

The music you can own is all Breakbeat related with Funk, Bboy and Big Beat influences rife! You can expect to hear remixes and mashups of music by AC/DC, The Chemical Brothers, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Rage Against The Machine, Skeewiff and The Prodigy to name just a few. With a shed load of high calibre tracks on offer, all that’s left is for you to get digging and grab yourselves some priceless treasure because it’s all there just waiting to be discovered or rediscovered even.

Download all of the music for free or pay what you like here on Bandcamp.
