Ruff Diamond ft Taz & Wanja Janeva – Extra High – The Remixes (SupaEarth Records)

Next up on SupaEarth Records comes a 4 track remix package that’s going to set the airwaves alight! The remixes are of label boss Ruff Diamond‘s 2018 release ‘Extra High’ that features the incredible Soul power of Berlin-based vocalist Wanja Janeva and one of the prominent figures in the UK urban scene of the 2000s TAZ. The single was loved by Disco fans worldwide who we’re sure will now be just as excited by the 4 extra tasty remixes on offer here.

The first of the remixes comes from Ruff Diamond himself and his super extended Disco version that’s just shy of 9 minutes long! That of course means that there’s even more time to enjoy at his newly arranged party jam that’s also sporting razor-sharp brass courtesy of London’s finest¬†Dominic Glover aka DJ Deirdre, from the Stellar Horns. Jet Boot Jack follows with another fire-cracker of a remix to add to his hugely impressive collection. He brings a tougher feel to his funked-up House remix and as always, you can expect to feel the burn thanks to his high-energy approach.

Argentina’s Ladies On Mars is next and he keeps the intensity high and rising with an infectious remix that is full of class and pizzazz and has the power to add an extra shake or two to your shimmy. Wrapping up this quality quartet is Applique Music bossman Lempo. His remix is one for the early hour’s crew thanks to its darker and deeper vibe and naughty bassline. Turn up the dials to appreciate this one in all its glory.
