Even though Simon Shackleton has been getting busy in the studio in recent times, he’s still taking the time to go hunting for brand new music also and if you follow him on Spotify, you’ll already be aware of the deep, emotive and top-quality electronica he has been tracking down.
As well as regularly topping up his playlist on Spotify with some truly stunning sounds, Simon is also choosing to showcase some of the music he has found via regular-ish mixtapes. His first mixtape in over two years landed back in April and another two-hour mix for Everything Will Be Ok‘s infamous Good Morning From… mix series dropped last month. Both of those mixes can be found over on Simon’s Soundcloud page but before you check those mixes out, first immerse yourself in his brand new July 2022 mixtape. Filled with some of his favourite recent finds from the world of deep and emotive electronica, this particular mix is bookended by a couple of world exclusives – the cinematic mix of ‘Traumstaat’ and the club mix of Simon’s forthcoming single ‘Draumur Innan Draums’ which is out on the 15th of July.
