Skin Teeth – Quarantine Mix PT. II (Torre)

My blogging brother Tariq has already shown support for the Manchester-based imprint Torre when he featured Pressa‘s epic XTC EP last month. Now it’s my turn to jump onboard the raucous Breakbeat bandwagon with this equally epic mix from label owner Skin Teeth.

Skin Teeth is a huge advocate of the hard as nails 130bpm Breaks sound that’s driven by Jungle and Rave influences that see producers use nu-skool production techniques to create warehouse anthems of the future. It’s a sound that in the most-part is brutal and uncompromising thanks to the brain-rearranging basslines, harsh drums and dark and twisted vocals and FX, but if you like your Breakbeat with a hardcore edge, you’ll be very pleased you’ve come across this massive mix! Several of Skin Teeth’s own tracks can be heard along with further music from his label and other talented producers from all around the globe. Standout tracks can be tracked down thanks to the always handy tracklist which you can find below. All that’s left to do is buckle up tight because this is one wild ride of Breakbeat music!
