Breaks & Bass legend Skool of Thought has recently popped up, seemingly out of nowhere, with a brand new mix for us all to get stuck into during the lockdown times. Heavyweight Breaks 2020 is that very mix and if you’ve been a longtime fan of his, you’ll recognise that name as the one that was given to the original Heavyweight Breaks mix CD that was released some 18 years ago! Just like the original mix, the new one features 10 tracks from the last 12 months that are in Skool of Thoughts opinion, provide the perfect snapshot of how exciting the Breaks & Bass scene is right now and from what we’ve heard, we’re as excited as he is!
