‘Deeper’ is the kind of secret rave gem that any rave lover will go mad for! The vinyl contains six versions of the track. A1 is the ‘Hardcore Remix Dub’, a classic cut up, Hip Hop inspired slice of 92′ ardcore that flips between full on breaks and 4×4 kicks with Housey pianos and several sections of full on raviness. If you like the early ‘Energiser’ tunes by Daves Charlesworth, this will be right up your street.
The ‘Hardcore Remix’ is not just the extra vocals version, the arrangement is different but keeps the massive Love Decade style lead piano riff.
‘Mix 1’ drops the tempo for a Hardcore House workout with buzzing Euro pads and uplifting drops complete with crowd noise (It was 1992 after all and if you were there, it sounded amazing!)
‘Mix 2’ has more of a Proggy feel while retaining that stadium style sound a la Dream Frequency, Rhythm Quest and others.
‘Mix 3’ opens with floaty keys similar to Fantasy UFO while stripping back the pianos for more of those tough yet dreamy synths from the other versions.
Wether you were a spotty schoolkid or sweaty raver, as soon as you hit play on this one, you will be back in arguably the greatest year of rave music, you can’t get more 92 than this!
