Swing & Bass Compilation Album Vol. 3

Fizzy Gillespie and Mista Trick have rounded up the troops once again for another lively and fun-packed instalment of their superb “Swing & Bass” compilation series. This time around, there are 19 tracks that are all available to download for free and because it’s a strictly Drum and Bass affair, you best clear some space because you will end up busting to moves to the music coming your way, make no mistake about that!

Volume 3 features a fine selection of Swing and Funk infused DnB originals and remixes that’ll not just make you want to dance like no one is watching, but also put a big ol’ cheesy grin on your face while you’re doing it and you just cannot put a price on that! Tracks like Hiphoppapotamus & Fizzy Gillespie’s tight and techy remix of “Green Onion” by Booker T & The MG’s, Mista Trick’s bassbin troubling remix of Shirley Bassey’s “Light My Fire”, Mr Fitz‘s infectious and brass-toting remix of Al Wilson’s “The Snake”, Jamie Bostron’s swinging and bassline rippin’ “Cold Blooded” and Phil Mac & Gina Ellen’s wild and insanely brilliant rendition of The Prodigy’s “Out Of Space”, amongst many others, will put you through your paces big time, so it’s time to limber up and dance all of your troubles away, forever!

As mentioned, the album is available to download for free, but should you choose to buy it, all proceeds will be going to The British Lung Foundation, an organisation that are doing great work to support people suffering from Long Covid. For more info on their work, Click Here.

If this is your first encounter with this compilation series, you might be interested to know that Swing & Bass is also a club night that is run by Fizzy as well. I’ve never been to one myself, but from the pictures and what I’ve read about the night in terms of comments on various socials, it sounds and looks like a party everyone should attend at least once in their lives!

The next Swing & Bass party is going down this very weekend (18th September) at the Hootananny Brixton, so if you’re in the area or you’re visiting London and the likes of Mista Trick, Father Funk and WBBL being on the lineup, head to the event page on Facebook by Clicking Here.
