Even though the dust is still yet to settle after the release of their incredible ‘Say The Word’ album back in July of last year, The Allergies are all geared up and looking forward to the release of their fifth studio album that is due to drop in September this year! Whilst that news does feel a long way off, there’s no need to get too down because it’ll soon be here and just like all of their previous albums, there will be several singles dropped in the run-up to the full release that will keep the smiles fully-charged and will, as always, be available digitally and on 7″ vinyl.
The Allergies have, in fact, already released the first single from their new album which landed late last year and you can check ‘Jumping Off’ by Clicking Here. The first single of the 2021 album campaign just happens to be the one we have here ‘Lean on Me’, which features UK rap legend Dynamite MC who they first teamed up with on their last album. On this occasion, Dynamite MC’s lyrical dexterity is on full show over tough-sounding drums and bluesy guitar riffs. The intense vibe of their new single means the roof will be raised at any party it’s played at due to it being a true dancefloor heater! Track 2 of the digital release or the b-side for the vinyl heads ‘Working On Me’ brings a classic Allergies sound to the fore with funky guitars, feverish drums and a wave of positivity that will do the same as the previous track by bringing the party to the party! Both tracks are now available to own digitally and on 7″ vinyl on Jalapeno Records.
