With releases on labels such as Furious Mandrill Records, Masterworks Music and Hot Digits amongst others, Hungarian duo The Magic Track arrive on Spa In Disco for the second time with two 112bpm pocket rockets of the Disco kind on their Shake It Up EP.
The title track of the EP greets us and leads us straight onto the dancefloor where we’re encouraged to shake it to the thumpin’ 4/4 kick and to get on down to that damn funky groove, classic vocals and blazing horns. Whilst the second track Early Morning Ex doesn’t bring all the razzle-dazzle of the first one, there is plenty of fire in the belly of this one which drives it along and entices those in earshot to start creating shapes of their own kind to this Afro-tinged heater. Time to shake what ya mama gave ya!
