Timewarp – Deep Diggin Grooves Pt. II

As promised when we brought you ‘Deep Diggin Grooves Pt. I’ not so long ago, Timewarp returns with another 6 luxurious House tracks on volume two which you can make yours from his label Kraak Records.

For those who are just tuning into this particular EP series, the music that can be found was discovered on an old hard drive and dates back to 1998-2002. Such is the quality of Timewarp’s work though, all of the tracks will not sound out of place on today’s dancefloors one little bit. ‘Where Da Funk’ fidgety groove is just perfect to entice feet to the floor early doors and once they’re there ‘Deep At The Hole’ will keep them more than occupied with its tougher 4/4 stance.

The intoxicating tribal beats of ‘Experimental I’ will grab you and once they do, they won’t let go, which is no bad thing. ‘4Fun’ is another track that simmers under the peak-time boiling point and again, if you’re there to warm things up, it’ll do the job in style. Returning to a more upbeat sound we have the spacey and tripped-out ‘Free House’ and finally ‘Xamos O’ which opens on an ambient note, but soon descends to a much darker place which gives it the perfect feel for the early hour parties that keep going on strong.
