Together with Ukraine is an international collaboration of over 100 producers, artists and volunteers, who have come together to release a mammoth compilation album featuring 136 tracks and over 30 bespoke pieces of visual art, with a goal to unite the music community in support of Ukraine and to raise money for the Ukrainian Red Cross Society during the ever-worsening humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
The music found on the Together with Ukraine compilation is predominantly Drum and Bass led with an assortment of other bass-influenced sounds including Dubstep, Footwork, Jungle and UK Garage on board also. Because of the amount of music to listen to, I’ve only managed to work my way through a third of the tracks on the comp, but everything that has been listened to has been top-drawer and top-quality! All of the music and thought-provoking artwork is available for a very generous £12, but as is the way with Bandcamp, you can pay more if you would like to do so.
The whole LSM team’s thoughts are with the people of Ukraine and we stand with you all the way while also hoping the terrible war ends as soon as possible. Futile words for such a terrible and tragic situation, I am sadly aware, but heartfelt they are.
