Ursula 1000 EP’s – Smoke Machine & Clap Your Hands

Ursula 1000, has been a very busy boy, releasing not one but two new single EP’s with a whole host of top names dropping in with some ace remixes. The first of these singles ‘ Smoke Machine ‘.

‘ Smoke Machine ‘ is the first single of, Ursula 1000’s, to be released on, Fort Knox Recordings and having worked alongside those funk soul brothers for many years it was only a matter of time before this winning combo happened. The single is a sleazy House stomper with an Electro groove and features the lyrical skills of, Bcap. Remixes on this one come from, Fort Knox Five, with a funked up, breaky G-House vibe. Qdup, adds his touch with and old skool Breakbeat twist complete with 808 booms. Rounding things off is on a dark, techy House level is, Richard.Gear.

For, Ursula 1000’s, second EP he’s gone back to his more familiar retro meets future sound with ‘ Clap Your Hands ‘. This ones a proper funky little number harking back to the good old days of Big Beat. With the good times already flowing from the single along come the remixes! Minimatic, flips the track on it’s turning it into a Deep House groover. Renegades Of Jazz, bring every horn they can find to pump up the original in fine style. Skeewiff, get in on the action and again take things to a unexpected level with their 60’s influenced Northern Soul remix, keep the faith! Sons Of Satin, bring home the baton with a heavy helping of bass in their Gltich Hop / Twerk remix.

What an abundance of amazing music! We hope you’re all digging it like we are on the ward!
